We grow at the rate we grow. Some of us are morning glories, some giant pines. Each step of the way has it's beauty and meaning; there is no rushing the process of coming to full flower. As my garden taught me twenty years ago, the only place we'll find the seeds that grow us are inside ourselves. To be with ourselves in that discovery process is to be still and open, curious and attentive, receptive without expectation, without preconception, without judging what we find in our hearts, minds, bodies, and spirits.
